Magnesium granule is made of 99.99% high-purity magnesium ingot. It’s spherical and silver- white , and has good liquidity. Its melting point is 648.8℃, and its boiling point is 1107℃. Light weight. Its density is 1.74g/cm3, about 1/4 of the copper and 2/3 of the aluminum. It has strong chemical activity and greater affinity with oxygen. It is often used as reductant to replace Ti, Zr, Ur, Be and other metals. Magnesium powder or in thin strip, is easy burnt in the air with blazing white light. Magnesium is not magnetic, and has good heat dispersion. For its low density and high specific strength, magnesium can combine aluminum, copper, zinc and other metals to form high-strength alloy. Magnesium is increasingly an important alloying element.
